The earring part at the end - dying! My son did that at 2.5 - he took my husband's wedding ring and put it in a makeshift "stocking" (ie - sock on a string) he "made" at the holidays. We looked EVERYWHERE, and even bought him a new ring, only for our kiddo to surface it in January as a present for daddyđŸ™ƒ

Such a specific kind of comedic genius here... And exactly the kind I can relate to! My 3 year old's current bedtime routine is two books, two songs, "stay for a few minutes," "hold my hand," (note: hand holding can SOMETIMES happen concurrently with "stay for a few minutes," only after intense negotiation), multiple exploding fist bumps and - newly added, and hilariously appropriate for this theme - a firm handshake.

Top notch conflict resolution. Kudos all around, esp Grey Bunny work behind the scenes.

Love this! I had some pretty elaborate bedtime routines for my now teenagers.

I did a passive-aggressive email post recently (a passive-aggressive email to my friend who suggested I write a passive-aggressive email as a blog post to tell her it wasn't a good idea for a post). https://open.substack.com/pub/heidichong/p/in-regards-to-your-recommendation?r=2s9s2e&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
