Been thinking about how you have a relatively low volume of paid subscribers vs readers. One detail that may help is to include a call to action to subscribe and ask for paid subscribers in every non paywall post. We’re all susceptible to having someone we appreciate simply ask. Sometimes that it’s a person’s job is not obvious to non-professional writers. I see many writers here include this at the beginning of every post with a line or two of boiler plate that states what the newsletter is/who they are and at the end of every post and also half way through if it’s a longer one. Include the subscribe button.
