Grudge Nation (sorry),
I was given excellent advice today, and am very upset to have been counseled by a colleague who is wiser than I am. There is something degrading about being seen, evaluated, and correctly told that a choice I previously thought was correct and good was, indeed, wrong and bad. In return, if for no other reason than to regain my self-esteem, I would like to give you advice.
The first 10 people who reply will get my answers, and if I steer you in the wrong direction, whoops.
Write your question in the comments section and you’ll get me on my high horse telling you what to do tomorrow.
what the hell do I do about my flagging career, Bess, what
3 questions:
1) is it worth seeking your advice if I am not among the first 10?
2) how can I get more people to read my substack newsletter?
3) I seem to be in menopause earlier than I might have expected, likely courtesy of my breast cancer medication. do I need to tell JD Vance about the menopause? the cancer?
