I mostly agree with you this time. Just want to add that Hamas is merely a proxy of Iran. One is Shia and the other Sunni, two sects that have been at war (sometimes hot, sometimes cold) for fifteen hundred years. What they share in common is a desire to destroy Israel and kill as many Jews as possible. Also, in a case of even stranger bedfellows, Iran is allied with China and Russia. What they share in common is a desire to destroy the West, especially our democracy and personal freedoms. So “the plot” is much bigger than you described.
