Just read this, out loud, to my Jewish family, after an entire discussion last night about how to counter the insanity from Mom's friends who keep sending her long emails about why they're voting for Trump. Now she can just forward this. Thank you.
As usual, you & your relatives have your fingers on the pulse. Unless of course Alan Dershowitz beat them to the antisemite allegation on Twitter.
Hope everyone's as excited as I am! Wish I could invite all of you to our VP debate screening, where I'll be hosting a drinking game built around use of the term "trans."
Absolutely 100% perfect, Bess. I only wish Thanksgiving was before election day so I could use them all, but something tells me I’ll have plenty of other chances.
I appreciate what you’re trying to do here, and all of a sudden I’m glad that I don’t have any of these particular stripe of friends and family. (The only Jews I know who might be voting for Trump know enough to be ashamed of it and keep quiet.) I guess my question is: shouldn’t all of this be so patently obvious that it’s almost not worth saying? Any Jew out there who doesn’t tacitly understand everything you’re saying by now, after all these years, is not going to let it sink in at this point. Good on you for trying, but let’s focus on turning out the vote among those who are not already a lost cause, right?

You are a treasure to the tribe.
It still irks me that “He’s a horrible person that is horrible” isn’t the only talking point we need.
