I wrote it because when I found out I was having a boy, people gave me so many books like “Lil Feminist! Slay!” and “A Wikipedia Version of Eleanor Roosevelt’s Childhood: With Pictures!”
I wanted a book that
A) Made him laugh.
and
B) Made him realize he doesn’t have to act tough, and he’s great how he is, and you get what you give.
This book is that. I read it to my best friend’s daughter Vita last night and she loved it too, it made her stomp like a silly buffalo. Best review yet.

By some miracle, my indie book store gave me my preordered copy a WEEK EARLY and I was able to gift it to my godson in person (as opposed to mailing it to him today as initially planned) and I read it to him and his brother twice (his grandfather also read it to them twice that day lol).
