Happy New Year! Hope your time away from your kindergarten desk was restful and restorative! Sorry to email on vacation (ugh!) but wanted to touch base about Monday. Just confirming you are set to return to Teacher Lisa and Teacher Molly’s class at 8:40AM. I know that’s generally been “Lego Speed Build: Titanic” YouTube video time for you the past couple weeks so wanted make sure you’re aware of the schedule change.

Happy New Year to you as well. Sadly I think some wires got crossed here, so to clarify:
8:40AM is definitely FAR from when I can meet with Lisa and Molly. Really frustrating that I need to reiterate this, but: That’s cozy time, which I thought we agreed was for pajamas. Wish I could make it work, but as per our discussions every day for the past two weeks, it’s just not possible on my end.
Even if I could somehow eat my waffle, get dressed, brush my teeth, AND put on socks and shoes before 8, there’s no way I could make it before “EXPERT Lego Speed Build: Titanic” is over.
Aside from the obvious logistical problems, from creative standpoint if I change gears and dive into new projects with Lisa and Molly, I’d basically be throwing all that Titanic time in the garbage, and would have been spinning my wheels for nothing.
Sorry I couldn’t make it work and send along my apologies to the whole Kindergarten team. Love those guys and don’t want them to take it personally. They’re like family so I know they’ll get it.
